ABOUT NGHRL
The Nanomaterials and Green Hydrogen Research Lab (NGHRL) is a dedicated research facility within the Department of Chemistry at Tri-Chandra Multiple Campus, Tribhuvan University, in Kathmandu, Nepal.
Established under the leadership of Assistant Professor Dr. Dasu Ram Paudel, NGHRL focuses on advancing sustainable energy solutions through nanotechnology, with a particular emphasis on green hydrogen production, storage, and application.
Our mission is to foster innovation, promote scientific collaboration, and contribute to a cleaner energy future through cutting-edge research in nanomaterials and green hydrogen technologies. We aim to address both local and global energy challenges while nurturing the next generation of scientists and researchers.
NGHRL operates as a semi-high-tech laboratory, equipped with modern instruments and facilities to support advanced research in electrocatalyst synthesis, fuel cell development, and hydrogen storage systems. Our team includes undergraduate, graduate, and PhD scholars working under expert supervision to advance the field of sustainable energy.
We are proud to be part of Tri-Chandra Multiple Campus—a historic institution known as the “Mother of Intellectuals” in Nepal—and we strive to uphold its legacy of academic excellence and intellectual contribution.
