Showcasing Our Research Progress at FWU International Conference

In a significant move toward advancing sustainable energy technology and heritage preservation, the Nanomaterials and Green Hydrogen Research Lab.

In a significant move toward advancing sustainable energy technology and heritage preservation, the Nanomaterials and Green Hydrogen Research Lab (NGHRL) made a prominent impact on the Third International Conference on Heritage, Innovation, and Transformation (2026).

The prestigious event, organized by Far Western University (FWU), officially commenced on Tuesday, 17 February 2026, at the university’s central office in Mahendranagar, bringing together global experts to discuss the future of science and culture.

Expert Leadership: Dr. Dasu Ram Paudel

Representing the NGHRL, Professor Dr. Dasu Ram Paudel played a pivotal role in the inaugural sessions. As a specialist in cutting-edge research, Dr. Paudel delivered an Invited Lecture, focusing on the synergy between nanomaterials and green energy solutions within the framework of modern innovation.

Following his lecture, Dr. Paudel served as the Session Chair, guiding technical discussions and facilitating a high-level academic exchange among international scholars.

Student Research and Global Interaction

A delegation of five NGHRL students accompanied Dr. Paudel, showcasing the lab's commitment to developing the next generation of scientists. Their participation included:

  • Oral & Poster Presentations: Students presented their latest research findings, highlighting the role of nanomaterials in solving contemporary environmental challenges.
  • Academic Networking: The team engaged in intensive Q&A sessions and collaborative dialogues with researchers from over 20 participating countries.

Bridging Science and Local Heritage

Beyond the lecture halls, the NGHRL team took the opportunity to explore the local landscape. The group visited several tourist landmarks in Mahendranagar and the surrounding of Kanchanpur district. These field visits allowed the students and Professor Paudel to connect their scientific perspectives with the natural and cultural heritage of the Far West region.

A Milestone for NGHRL

The conference, inaugurated by the Governor of Sudurpaschim Province, Hon’ble Najir Miya, serves as a vital platform for multidisciplinary progress. For the Nanomaterials and Green Hydrogen Research Lab, three days of staying were a resounding success, blending academic leadership with practical exploration and international visibility.
